Context

Since 2015, I have worked within Keywords Studios' international testing network on quality assurance for game titles. The focus is reproducible defect analysis, risk assessment, and clear technical documentation.

Challenge

International entertainment releases at this scale are highly complex, with large builds, tight schedules, and many changes moving in parallel. Under significant time pressure, risks need to be identified early, deviations assessed consistently, and defects narrowed down in a reproducible way.

Implementation

Systematic QA processes support release decisions through traceable analysis, reproducible defect isolation, and clear risk assessment.

Working Approach

  • Pattern recognition: Identify recurring anomalies across builds
  • Defect reproduction: Narrow down deviations in a reproducible way
  • Risk assessment: Surface critical impact early
  • Judgment: Assess the relevance and scope of findings in the broader context

My contribution

I have worked as a QA Engineer and Game Tester in an international testing network for major entertainment releases since 2015. This long-term practice has sharpened my attention to quality, stability, and clear technical communication.

The QA mindset—attention to detail, systematic methods, and reproducible results—continues to shape how I work as a software engineer.

Tech stack

The work centered on dependable QA processes and clear communication rather than a fixed technology stack.
